A Medieval Saturday in the village......

Today the Church held a Medieval day in the road where Mum and Dad live (Church Road of course!) and we went along to have a look to see what was happening.......

There were a few people outside the church......

...and a Medieval display inside (this is where Richard & I got married, for those of you who are interested) showing costumes and clothing.......

....you could try out archery outside for a small fee... here is Richard trying his hand at it.....

......then it was my turn, not very successful!!! Mum & I were joking that what with the archery and all the goings on it was rather like an episode of 'Midsomer Murders' but without any los of life thankfully!......

......we even stumbled upon a goose!!

Dad and his neighbour were doing the barbeque as usual and selling hot dogs and burgers (very tasty too!).....

....doesn't he look proud holding his tongs!

Finally here I am with Leah, who is modelling a rather fetching hat that she pinched from my Dad!

You made me laugh with the midsomer reference. My husband and I constantly joke that you would lock the door and keep driving if you passed through midsomer! Mind you...I do like Inspector Barnaby! Jen
