Does anyone else have this problem? I have started to make a cardigan for Leah using the Sirdar Fresco yarn I bought from my LYS. Its quite bright, but don’t mind that too much, what I don’t like is the pooling of colour! AArrgggHH, it’s a nightmare! I made the back and the pooling didn’t start until the armhole decreases, but as it hasn’t happened too much it’s not a problem. The same happened for the left from and again not until the shoulder decreases, so it’s something I can live with. Now I have already ripped back the right from once as the pooling was happening continually and it looked down right daft next to the left front.
So any tips how to stop this happening? I tried skipping a bit of yarn to stop the same colour being knitted on top of the previous row, but it wasn’t working. I think it just depends where about on the ball you start and you can’t tell until a few rows in….HELP PLEEEEEASE!!!!!

Oh dear ! Sorry, i cannot help you ! I hope you will find some help ! Have a great day :)
Hetty, I read something about this the other day. They suggested knitting two rows in one ball then starting another for two rows and keep alternating. Have not tried it but sounds like it might work.
I've never knit with yarn that might do that to be honest. Can't really say how you could avoid it if the yarn has been dyed that way? I'll be interested to see if there is a solution for you.
I don't really think I have ever run into this problem, maybe I have just been lucky. I hope someone has an answer for you.

I wanted to respond to your post on my page. I do use cups for my cup cakes, but on my muffins I use the butter spray. It is best to have a non stick pan.Mine is just well used and I spray it well and so far no sticks. Good luck.
I'm not sure if understood right your problem, but think that had the same with one sock. Everytime I decreased the pattern went to mess. Lazy as I am, then I just knitted tighter to get it better again. I'm sorry that don't have actual help! :(
:-( I haven't knitted with this yarn - but I wonder once all the pieces are finished and it is sewn together whether you will notice - or if the color will provide a design element .... I'm sorry I can't be much help. Good luck - post a picture - I bet it looks yummy!
