As you may well know, things are a bit hectic around here with my two very active girls. Not only is Evie into everything, but she also wants to follow her big sister everywhere she goes and do everything she does.
So I haven't had much time to keep up with my blog or letters - the only bit of relief I have really is to pick up my needles and knit when they are in bed. I have found it a great comfort in helping me to unwind before going to bed myself. There's something about the needles moving back and forth and the fabric growing that I find really soothing.
So here are a few finished items from the last few months that you might like to take a look at.

I know I don't have children but I know a little how you feel as I've hardly written letters since September and even less since Easter... I'm just finding I'm slumped in front of the TV or reading a book... I just think its best to do what you feel comfortable with instead of forcing yourself to do something you don't want to as it feels like a chore.
I'm not even sure if you went back to work after Evie but if you did I can understand how much worse that is as it seems never ending with trying to keep on top of the house too.
I received your wonderful PC, thanks so much I did blog about it :). At least you now have Cornwall to look forward to and I hope you have wonderful weather.
I have always knitted a bit each day since I have had my children, otherwise I feel off balance somehow. I adore all those gorgeous knits you have been making, and your little girls are looking so cute in them too.
Knitting is a great antidote to a stressful life, my youngest of four is now 15 and I've always felt lost if I didn't have something on my needles all through their growing up..........I always made sure I had a little knitting time every day, so good for the soul.
Your little girls look so pretty in their mama's knits.
