This made me laugh...

I meant to post this picture earlier - my friend saw this and sent the picture to me, I did have a good chuckle!!

I won!

I took part in the ladies match again this year and this time I won! I really enjoyed it even though I had to listen to Richard bossing me about for 4 hours!

The lake has some visitors at the moment so I gave them the rest of my lunch which they seemed very pleased with.

The next morning we popped along to a car boot sale held in a nearby pub car park. Luckily the pub was doing breakfast so we tucked in to bacon and sausage rolls. Even Leah had one - yum, yum, yum!!

A visit to the sea life centre...

On Saturday we took a trip into Southend with our friends and their son, to visit the sealife centre. I haven't been for years, so we thought it would be good to take the kiddies along.



Leah loved looking at the fish - but seemed to enjoy running about just at much. I think she wanted to join the children's party that was taking place at the same time ( I never knew that little boys could be soooo noisy! I don't think there was one of them at the party that spoke rather than shouted!)

It was quite difficult to take many photos because of the lighting, but we did manage a few. We saw some gigantic sea bass - about a metre long - stingrays, plaice and sharks too! There were also some little turtles and some cute tree frogs.

Here was a fish (not sure what) swimming quite fast - I liked the effect the camera took, all by accident too :o)

We went to a cafe afterwards for a cup of tea (the restaurant at the sealife centre was full of the kids party!) and I took her on the Tweenies ride outside and she loved it! Luckily she was happy with the one go :o)

Wheeeeeeee!!!!!

Richard, Leah & I met my friend Lucy for lunch today, so we went to a local pub which has a lovely children's play area outside. The sun was shining, so we all relaxed whilst Leah played. She wanted to go on the slide, so with a bit of help from us she climbed the steps by herself (on her knees obviously!), lined herself up....


... then with a little help from Daddy ( I just LOVE her little face here, it is totally lit up with excitement - now I know what people mean when they say that!).... .....WHEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so pleased she had fun!

I saw this on Cotton & Cloud's blog and couldn't resist trying it for myself. I used her link to Wordle and created my own. I would love to see anyone else's once they are done - just leave a post and I wil check it out!
